Sandra Lake is the K-5 STEAM & Technology Coach for Brumby Elementary in the Cobb County, GA School District. She has spent nearly two decades as an educator, coaching and working with teachers and k-5 students. She is also the vice president of the Brumby Elementary School Foundation, where she works closely with the community and business partners to actively support families and engage students and teachers in STEAM programs and all aspects of school community and climate.
Sandra is passionate about empowering teachers in a trauma-informed way. She frequently conducts professional development training, focusing on collaboration and giving her colleagues strategies and tools they can implement immediately.
Sandra has a BS in Childhood Education, a Masters in Technology Education and recently graduated with honors from Kennesaw State University with an Ed.S. in Advanced Leadership in Instructional Technology. In May 2020, she was awarded the Outstanding Scholar Award from the KSU graduate school professors. She is also a member of Golden Key Honor Society and the KSU Association of Latino Alumni.
Sandra enjoys spending time with her family, and volunteering at the Brumby Elementary food distribution and creating art activities and cooking for The Table on Delk in Marietta, GA
