This kit is designed for educators and those who work with children to have a basic kit of tools and ideas for helping students to “Get Regulated” (one of the trauma-informed essentials taught at ATN).
Contents:
- Silicone Sponge. Good for tactile and proprioceptive sensory input. Can easily be carried and also popped into the microwave to sanitize. Doesn’t hurt if thrown.
- Pinwheel. Great tool to help younger children learn “belly breathing” because they have to take a deep breath and then slowly exhale.
- Connected Messages. Relationship-building notes to give to students.
