Attachment & Trauma Network, Inc.
TOUCHING TRAUMA AT ITS HEART
Help Heal Traumatized Hearts
There are many ways to join ATN in creating connection, building resilience, and fostering hope for children, families, and communities
Volunteer
The Attachment & Trauma Network is powered by passionate volunteers. Most opportunities are virtual, so volunteers should have access to a computer and internet.
Our volunteer community is flexible, supportive, and committed to helping children, families, and communities heal and thrive. Contribute when your schedule allows and make a meaningful impact.
Here are the areas where we actively need help:
Task Forces. We have volunteer Task Forces focused on three key areas: Schools & Educators, Advocacy and Certification. Task Force members help shape and strengthen ATN programs by sharing their expertise, providing feedback, supporting others, and serving as ambassadors for our mission.
Social Media/PR Volunteers. Help ATN spread awareness and amplify our mission through social media, content creation, and communications. Whether you’re active on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, or other platforms—or have experience in marketing, public relations, podcasting, or writing—your skills can help us reach more children, families, educators, and communities.
Conference Volunteers. We have an annual in person Creating Trauma-Sensitive Schools Conference that relies on dedicated volunteers to help create a meaningful experience for attendees. Volunteer opportunities include registration support, workshop monitoring, self-care activities, the bookstore, special events, and more.
We also have two virtual conferences in which volunteers are needed to moderate sessions and provide support to the presenters.
Board of Directors. In a fast-growing non-profit, the need for experienced volunteers to lead and advise is great. If you are interested in lending your leadership and business expertise to the trauma-informed movement in a strategic way, ATN’s leadership could be the place for you. You will get to work along side some incredible trailblazers making a real difference in this field!
Join our trek
Trek, run, walk, or swim during the month of October. This event is both a celebration of resilience and growth, and a global call to action for supporting the healing of children from the impact of early childhood trauma – the mission of the Attachment & Trauma Network since 1995.
Children impacted by trauma need more than a one-time response. Healing takes time—and it grows through safety, connection, and consistent support. As a Sustaining Giver, your compassion becomes action—month after month. Your monthly gift provides steady, reliable support for families, educators, and communities working to help children feel safer, more connected, and truly understood.
