Join our 3rd Annual Trekkin’ to Heal Trauma

Through the month of October, join our Trekkin’ to Heal Trauma event. This event is both a celebration of resilience and growth, and a global 🌎 call to action for supporting the healing of children from the impact of early childhood trauma – the mission of the Attachment & Trauma Network since 1995.

There is no single way to trek. Make it your own. Trek with friends, family, kids, or pets. Hit a trail 🥾 , stroll your neighborhood, tackle a roller coaster park 🎢 , don a Halloween costume 🎃 to “Trek or Treat,” or dream up something entirely unique. However you choose to trek, you’ll be joining others around the world in support of children and families.

Why are We Trekkin’ to Heal Childhood Trauma?

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are widespread – affecting over 61% of our population. Left unaddressed, childhood trauma can have a lasting impact on mental health, behaviors, chronic disease and social outcomes.

Each of us can make a difference in the life of a child! But with over 7 million children in the US involved in abuse and neglect annually and millions more struggling with the toxic stress of dangerous neighborhoods, poverty and unsafe environments…our work is far from finished.

Where Does the Money Go?

The Attachment & Trauma Network, Inc. (ATN) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. Proceeds will expand programming for parents and educators as they build healthy attachment, create safe spaces, and increase resilience in children.

provide training to parents, educators and community leaders who make a positive difference in the lives of children.
assist families in finding therapeutic resources.
spread awareness about the needs of children who have been impacted by trauma and what can be done to promote healing, prevent trauma, create hope, and grow resilience.
