Children who experience trauma need adults who understand how to support healing, connection, and resilience.
For 30 years, the Attachment & Trauma Network (ATN) has worked to equip parents, educators, and communities with the knowledge and tools to better support children impacted by trauma. Through national conferences, trauma-sensitive school initiatives, professional learning programs, and family resources, ATN continues to expand its reach and impact.
As our work grows, we are looking for mission-driven leaders to join our Board of Directors and help guide the next chapter of this important work.
We are especially interested in individuals who bring experience in areas such as:
- Finance
• Human Resources
• Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
• Legal
• Business Operations
• Nonprofit Leadership
• Development
We also welcome candidates with lived experience related to childhood trauma or attachment challenges, and individuals who are passionate about strengthening the adults and systems that support children.
ATN’s Board of Directors is a dedicated group of volunteer leaders who commit to:
• Monthly virtual board meetings
• Committee participation
• Participation in governance and development
• Approximately 5–8 hours per month
Serving on the ATN Board is an opportunity to help shape a future where children and families impacted by trauma have the understanding, support, and resources they need to thrive.
If you are interested in learning more about board service with ATN, we would love to connect.
