How to get to the Hilton Americas-Houston (1600 Lamar St, located next to the George R. Brown Convention Center) from both of Houston’s main airports:
1. From William P. Hobby Airport (HOU)
Distance: ~10 miles | Drive Time: 15–25 minutes (depending on traffic)
Rideshare (Uber / Lyft): $20–$35
Pickup location: Ground Transportation area outside Baggage Claim.
Best for: Speed and convenience.
Taxi: $27–$35 (flat or metered rates to downtown)
Pickup location: Curb Zone 2 outside Baggage Claim.
Public Transit (METRO Bus): $1.25–$2.00
METRO Bus 500 or Bus 40: Catch outside Baggage Claim (Curb Zone 3).
